I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Nebraska with a deep passion for helping individuals experience wholeness across the lifespan. Early in my work as a therapist, I recognized that human well-being extends beyond mental health alone—it encompasses the spirit, soul and body. My approach to counseling is wholistic and collaborative, with the goal of helping you navigate life’s challenges and thrive in your current season.
My clinical focus is working with older adults age 50 and above, as well as caregivers supporting individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD). I understand the unique emotional, relational, and identity-related challenges that can arise with aging, caregiving, and cognitive change, and I strive to provide a supportive, compassionate space where these experiences can be explored and processed.
I hold a PhD in Gerontology, where I developed a strong foundation in healthy aging and the critical role mental and emotional well-being play across later life. I also earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grace University. Drawing from both clinical training and gerontological research, my work as a therapist is grounded in evidence-based practices while remaining deeply person-centered, with a commitment to honoring each individual’s lived experience and supporting meaningful growth, resilience, and wholeness across the lifespan.
