Community Counselors
About Community Counselors
It has always been part of the vision to serve those who may not be able to afford standard counseling session fees. Through the generous support of Christ Community Church, CityCare Counseling is able to extend a program for that client. Working through Community Counselors (local graduate students in their final semesters of a counseling master’s program), we are able to offer four free sessions and sessions at a rate of $10 past the initial four. Each Community Counselor is carefully chosen by a team of directors at CityCare Counseling and is supervised by Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioners at CityCare Counseling.
The services include personal wellness, anxiety, depression, professional and career issues, stress management, parenting, grief and loss, relational issues, trauma, substance use/abuse, transition and adjustment, as well as spiritual issues.
