I believe counseling is more than a profession—it is a calling. I felt led by God to pursue counseling and have seen Him consistently affirm that calling through meaningful experiences, relationships, and opportunities that have shaped both my heart and clinical approach. Along this journey, I have worked in both ministry settings and an administrative role within the counseling field, experiences that gave me a deep appreciation for the human and practical sides of therapy. Working behind the scenes provided insight into scheduling, insurance, and the questions and concerns clients and families often have when beginning counseling, shaping my desire to make therapy feel approachable, transparent, and grounded in genuine connection.

I have a special passion for working with adolescents, as this season of life is both formative and challenging. During these years, individuals often need a space where they feel fully seen, known, and supported as they grow into who they are. While adolescents hold a special place in my heart, my work and passion extend across the lifespan—from young children to older adults—each bringing unique stories, strengths, and wisdom.

I believe that our life experiences, both joyful and painful, shape who we become. Just as unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors can be learned, they can also be unlearned. Even in our lowest moments, there is hope for change, growth, and healing.

My approach is rooted in empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard. I strive to create a safe, welcoming, and judgment-free environment where clients feel respected and heard. As a Christian counselor, my faith informs who I am and how I show up in the therapeutic space. Faith integration is always guided by the client—whether that means actively incorporating faith into sessions, approaching it cautiously, or not including it at all. Each client’s comfort, beliefs, and preferences are honored throughout the process.
