In Matthew 11:28 Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Jesus provides us with a rhythm of grace so we can live freely, but often in this world and with the stress and burdens we have it can be hard to find our way. I am here to walk alongside you, and I am eager to hear your story. As a therapist, I aim to use my skills and connection with clients to promote function, emotional regulation, healthy attachment, understanding, and meaning.
I have a heart for helping individuals, couples, and families navigate the impact of trauma and life’s challenges. My approach is grounded in trauma-informed care, and I integrate Christian counseling for those seeking faith-based support in their healing journey. I help individuals and families uncover the patterns that keep them stuck and find new ways forward. Whether you're facing relational struggles, deep wounds from the past, or feeling lost on your path, I'm here to journey with you. Together, we’ll work to build resilience, increase understanding of self and others, and reconnect with the purpose and peace you were made for.
I earned my Master's degree in Child, Youth, and Family Studies, with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have experience working with a range of issues, including depression, anxiety, complex PTSD, grief, relational problems, and forgiveness. My therapeutic approach combines interventions from Attachment Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), the Gottman Method for couples therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
I am married, and my husband and I have three wonderful children who fill our lives with love and laughter. I am a Nebraska native, and I enjoy spending my free time with loved ones, getting creative with crafts and sewing, and spending time in God’s creation.
