Going to a counselor can be pretty frightening; my goal is to make it as comfortable as possible. I believe that we all need help at times to work through difficult issues in our lives. Sometimes all it takes is a listening ear and at other times, we need to work through really painful issues. I count it a privilege to help clients with the stresses of life. Beginning therapy can be a big step toward being the healthiest version of yourself and living the best life possible—no matter what challenges you may be facing. Through therapy, you can change self-destructive behaviors and habits, resolve painful feelings, improve your relationships, and more.

After many years in the corporate world, I went back to school to get my Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Grace University. During the past year I have worked with people from all walks of life and with many kinds of struggles. I am told I am warm, genuine and caring and that I listen well. I have been married for over 40 years, I raised three wonderful sons and I have 4 beautiful grandchildren. God has brought me through many trials of my own and has shown me that He is always faithful.

When I began the journey to become a counselor I was inspired by the verse in II Corinthians 1:4 “He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to five them the same comfort God has given us.” (NLB)
