I am a Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (PLMHP) in Kearney, Nebraska, and a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. I graduated from the University of Nebraska–Kearney with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am married with no kids but have two Labrador retrievers. My wife and I are originally from western Nebraska and love the good life of Nebraska.
I’m an encourager and connector by nature, and my style of care is to be a “hope dealer.” I aim to help clients find hope by asking good questions, challenging thoughts, or fresh perspectives. Faith in Jesus Christ is my hope, but that doesn’t have to qualify or disqualify you from counseling with me.
My counseling approach is solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT). I love helping people achieve their goals and get 1% better daily. I have experience working with college students, young adults, women, men, and marriage counseling. I am a certified trainer and facilitator through Prepare/Enrich.
