I recently moved from my home state of Michigan to Nebraska and joined the team of professionals at CityCare Counseling. For the past six years, I have been the director of a Child Abuse Council Children’s Advocacy Center in Michigan and facilitated counseling for adults and children with concerns pertaining to sexual abuse, physical abuse and domestic violence. I am certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and forensic interviewing. I have also worked in private practice and with other agencies in Michigan to facilitate counseling pertaining to sex offenses, marriage, divorce, anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns. In my personal experience and in my service to others, I have discovered that life can often become about surviving through the unexpected. God created life to be much more than a survival marathon.
