I have spent the past 28 years working with my husband and raising my family of four and all but one of my kids have left the nest! I spent the last several years leading intensive healing groups through my church, taught community Bible studies, volunteered at our local crisis center and mentored women.

My heart is for healing and wholeness for all who are hurting, struggling or feeling stuck in life. We are not meant to do life alone. Because this world is so loud, we sometimes need a time out for ourselves to step back, do the hard work necessary for freedom and reset so that we can live the full life God has planned for each one of us.

My internship in a psychiatric hospital was key to my growth in the counseling field. Each one of us have the potential to be in a hospital at any given time if we do not know our identity and have a support system in place. Our identity is not in our circumstances or past, but is a unique gift given to each one of us. Reach out if you are ready to begin your journey of healing and wholeness.

Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might destroy him who holds the power of death, that is the devil and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death. –Hebrews 2:14–15, NIV
