“Revival starts with family.”
Perinatal mental health is where two family systems converge. Old patterns are further revealed as new roles and routines are formed. The systems and communities we have been a part of throughout our lives inform our beliefs, how we communicate, relate to others, perceive ourselves, view the world, form expectations about the roles we fill, and so on. Sometimes, the way we learn to function or even survive in one season of life is not conducive or even healthy for the seasons of life we are stepping into. This is when we have opportunity to rewrite dysfunctional patterns that have the potential to impact for generations to come. I primarily work with perinatal mental health (from trying to conceive to three years postpartum), and individual adults looking to transform their patterns and legacies by living more authentically and to grow in a way that is natural and beneficial to God’s intentional design of who you are.
