Krista Holly, PLMHP
Life can be a challenging journey and my goal is to walk beside you, offer encouragement, and equip you with tools to tackle what lies ahead. When counseling others, I operate with the mindset that my clients are the experts on their lives and are capable of more than they may recognize. When challenges arise, we may find ourselves utilizing poor coping mechanisms or feel stuck as to how to proceed. Counseling offers alternatives on how to approach these challenges and an opportunity for personal growth. You may be experiencing the challenge of a major life transition, family strife, processing grief, or the pain of mental health symptoms. Whatever causes you to seek help, I see my role as offering hope and a means for finding healing. I operate out of a Christian worldview and a strong belief in God’s ability to facilitate change. However, I enjoy working with clients from all worldviews. Whatever the reason you are seeking help, I will offer a safe place to process, heal, and grow.
I earned my Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling from The University of Memphis in 2013 and my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Covenant College in 2009. Currently, I am a provisionally licensed counselor in the state of Nebraska. Outside of CityCare, I work at an agency providing career counseling and evaluations for individuals with various disabilities seeking employment.
