I have a passion for working with children, youth, and teens helping them to understand and navigate thoughts, feelings, situations, and potentially harmful behaviors. My work with foster care has also created a strong desire to provide a safe place for others to explore, heal and grow.

I am a Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (PLMHP) in Nebraska. I have a Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. I utilize an eclectic style of counseling which primarily includes a combination of Solution-Focused, Person-Centered, Cognitive-Behavioral, and Creative and Expressive Therapy techniques. I have experience counseling children, teens and adults, men and women. I also have experience working with and supporting youth and families through traumas, suicidal ideation, self-esteem, relationship issues, depression, self-harm, anger, anxiety, grief, and other life hurts; including a background in leading twelve-step renewal groups for teens and adults.

Using a strengths-based approach, I believe that while we might need to learn new tools, we often have more strengths within us than we realize. I like to be fun and creative, and I strongly believe in the power of positive thoughts. I look forward to partnering with you as you work to grow and experience peace, wholeness, and positive connections with self and others.

“Every crisis offers an opportunity to grow stronger and wiser; to reach deep within and discover a better you that will create a better outcome.” –Jon Gordon
