My most important job is listening to my clients. I believe that we are each deeply known, seen, heard and understood by God. I also believe that our earliest attachments to our parents and family inform our current relationships with God and others. If we have never felt known, seen, or understood, or do not feel those things in our current relationships, we may be unable to move forward. We may feel stuck. With deep empathy and compassion, I will listen well. We can just “be” together as we explore your internal and external world and then decide together what to “do.”

I have extensive experience in counseling any person of any age, gender, or religion through:

  • stress and anxiety

  • depression and grief

  • dealing with change

  • betrayal trauma (spouses of sex addicts) and other trauma

  • separation and divorce

  • remarried couples and stepfamilies

  • motherhood issues

  • helping twenty-somethings navigate adulthood

I am certified in:

  • Attachment Core Pattern Therapy™

  • EMDR trauma therapy

  • Holy Yoga

I have training in:

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS), a research-based, scientifically proven method to help us discover and bring healing to all the parts of ourselves.

  • My formal education is in Clinical Psychology, Spiritual Formation, and Bible/Theology (Wheaton College, 2004; Western Seminary, 2013).

I am remarried to a Master Craftsman. Together, with our five kids and a dog, we have a quirky and blended blessing of a family. I love to swim, bike, run, cook, read, cry, laugh, and to “just be” still.
